The VOSTER project plans to address a wide spectrum of VO and Smart Organisation related issues dedicated to ICT. It is trying to establish a critical mass of European involvement to meaningfully promote the VO in the European industrial arena.

!COCONET workshop! Invitation to join the Coconet Special Interest Group and to participate the first workshop.>
The COCONET project (IST-2001-37460) is one of the roadmap projects in the context of Key Action II, Call 8. It will explore a new type of collaboration environment that is person-centred through the focus on context-awareness, knowledge support, and personalisation services, yet at the same time being seamlessly embedded in business processes of networked enterprises. The context under consideration includes multiple dimensions such as: languages, locations, time scales, cultural backgrounds, personal domains, tasks and administrative work procedures.
The project's first workshop will be held at IBM Zürich Research Laboratory on October 3-4, 2002. Information about the COCONET workshop can be found at the project's web site. An on-line registration form, to be completed, adding the title of your contribution, and to be sent before September 9th, is available on the project website.

!EAPPM Committee Election! During the ECPPM few discussions regarding the organisation of the EAPPM will take place. Every (committee) member is invited for contributions. The topics are:
- Election of the next chairman and vice-chairman.
As it is stated in the bylaws of the EAPPM a new vice-chairman will be elected during the ECPPM for a period of two years until the next ECPPM. The next vice-chairman will be responsible to organise the next ECPPM.
- Enlargement of the steering committee.
The steering committee should be enlarged towards East Europe for Europe wide cooperation in the field of process and progress monitoring. In particular, we are looking for representatives of following countries: Poland, Rumania, Czech and Croatia.
- Election of a new UK representative in the steering committee.
Robert Amor, as the former UK representative of the steering committee, moved to New Zealand, therefore there is a new chance to become the UK representative.
